final thoughts for our readers?

I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY READING THE PULSE AS MUCH AS I ENJOY PUTTING IT TOGETHER EVERY MONTH! THE SHOWROOM LOOKS BEAUTIFUL RIGHT NOW, & I PERSONALLY INVITE YOU TO CHECK IT OUT.

i mentioned, im hosting thanksgiving for the first time EVER. no pressure, right. to me the first impression of the table setting is crucial, so i am working on name cards to set on the napkins. if you are needing some beautiful scripty fonts for projects, feast your eyes on these beauts.

THE 5 PIECES YOU NEED
TO START YOUR
FOREVER  HOME COLLECTION

QUICK! look around your home & I’m guessing that there are pieces that have traveled with you from student living to forever spaces. today, let's chat about some of those items so you can recognize your own collection. we aren't talking sofas or beds because they will change over time. i'm talking about that beautiful rug you love, or that one vase, that once you set it out, you are are home. this is your heart's collection that can start at any time & carry on as long as you like!

a good accent chair can start off in an office, move to the corner of your bedroom, or add style on a good size landing. if you find one of you love (may we suggest this blue one above avail at MHF ;) you can pass it on to a child leaving home. find one you like & love it forever!

if there's one thing i love, it's a good rug. A COOL UNIQUE COLORFUL rug. i love a layered rug, an old rug, a bright new rug! you can't go wrong! a larger beautiful rug is always worth the investment. it can travel from home to home and be a great conversational piece.

coffee tables can come & go according to your space (or maybe you love poofy, comfy, ottomans...but there's always room for a good side table. if you fall in love with one...maybe it's different, maybe it doesn't fit your exact style right now...AND THAT'S OKAY! there will be pieces you buy for love, not necessity. these pieces become the ingredients of your home. without items like these, you might just be in a house.

a table lamp is another portable piece that, with a change of a shade, can follow you from house to house and live in any room with a socket! a slender body and shade shape can easily fit in a corner without needing too much space. however, we love lamps that have robust drum shades that resemble a piece of art! if you are like me & really detest overhead lighting (blech!) lamps are SUPER CRUCIAL to create the best mood lighting.

art is personal. so by "great" it doesn't have to be expensive. it can be a framed poster from a concert, or a postcard from your favorite holiday, but the point is that art (also books!) makes your home belong to you!

(where juniper used to be) it’s beautiful, they left the old wood bar, and the pizza oven. we tried the burrata app (yum!) and i ordered the grande meatball! haha! yep there’s a huge meatball in there! it was great, and i can’t wait to try some of the pizzas!
