PULSE vol. 6

LeeAnn Cline • July 7, 2021

is everyone else feeling more busy than EVER now that Summer is officially here? well, grab your coffee ( or wine ) and enjoy a few quiet minutes with volume 6 of the PULSE.

what's new in my world? well, i decided to put up a huge pool in the backyard instead of buying kayaks, my little boys are undefeated in their baseball season, and in this episode i feature @welcome_idahome, amazing treasures i found in seattle, a bopping, electric moody playlist, FRESH on the floor items, a current color addiction, and more!

edition six already! i have been on an electro vibe lately! perfect for work background, drives, or pool lounge vibes!     edition 6, get it here

Our bestselling Big Chill Sofa Collection’s name says it all – it’s all about plush, easy seating and relaxed comfort. The luxe cream textured microfiber provides an ultra-soft cover and the deep seats are great for kicking back. EVERYONE will enjoy the best seat in the house!

you can smell the peonies at Pike Place market just from the photo above. and, altho i love all things touristy in and around seattle, i took a different approach this trip! the theme was "rooftop dinners, bike rides, and more!" here are my top three highlights!

mountaineer club

this is the ahhhhhhmazing view from the top of the Graduate Hotel in the U-District of seattle. their rooftop bar & restaurant is called the mountaineer club. it looks out over u-dub and beyond to union bay.

go for the views, stay for the clam chowder! and for those of you that follow MHF on Insta, you saw the amazing furnishings and this hotel!!! dreamy!!!

gas works park

gas works park is located on the north shore of lake union. this unique park is on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light company.

there's a play area for kids, and when you walk to the water, an AMAZING view of the Seattle skyline. if you want to learn more about this interesting, overgrown park, check it out here: gas works park

smith tower in pioneer square

in the heart of pioneer square, is the stunning 35 floors tall, Smith Tower. a ticket will take you for a ride in the historic Otis elevator to the 35th penthouse floor.

the atmosphere is moody, and the cocktails are delish. the view is unmatched for photo ops! enjoy!

from their website: On the day Smith Tower opened to the public, July 4, 1914, 4,200 people travelled to the thirty-fifth-floor Observatory in the original Otis elevator we still use today. They paid only 25 cents for the ride. Originally, there were 540 offices, six retail stores, two telegraph offices, and a public telephone station in the building. Today, Smith Tower is home to the famous Observatory, thirty-fifth-floor bar, Legends of Smith Tower exhibits, ground-floor retail store, special events space, and offices.

get to know @welcome_idahome

"but honestly, this whole couch is super comfy. soft, warm, seats a million, and so so comfortable. if you are in the treasure valley, @mhfurnishings is a must!"

it is my pleasure to introduce Melinda from welcome_idahome. her insta is FULL of DIY, tips, crafts, amazing local shops & more! my favorite post she has done so far is this CANDLE HOLDER!! click the image to see how she made it! i'm obsessed.

current obsession - i'm calling it PINK of '21. do you guys ever get COMPLETELY consumed in something for like a week? when i got home from seattle it was like SOFT DUSTY PINK had taken over my life. i even did one of those "fill up empty/cleaned egg shells with paint and throw them at a canvas" to further explore my new love for this color palette.

since we are on our 6th volume of the PULSE, i feel like most of you know that i draw massive inspo from airbnb listings. if you are curious about the properties in the images above, here are their links:

idylle maison
in a little town in italy.
a treasure
 in the heart of rome.
giulia's holiday
 home near the river tiber.
essex candlestick from farmhouse pottery

here is the art work I made from hucking eggs (emptied & filled with paint) at a canvas! do it with your kids, or LITERALLY do it alone, and have a blast with what you create! i am super into art with lots of white space, so i am digging what it created!

if you try this art experiment, send your images to me: leeanncmhf@gmail.com

also, shoot me an email if you have ANY questions.

i will feature your art next month!!

(where juniper used to be) it’s beautiful, they left the old wood bar, and the pizza oven. we tried the burrata app (yum!) and i ordered the grande meatball! haha! yep there’s a huge meatball in there! it was great, and i can’t wait to try some of the pizzas!
