PULSE vol. 8

LeeAnn Cline • September 26, 2021

okay YOU GUYS! happy PUMPKIN SPICE SEASON! crisp morning, pumpkins, halloween decor, cozy evenings, and all the fall things!

first things first - since you have been on the baby shower train with me - i have to share how successful last weekend was! it felt great to be back in pullman - and the shower was beautiful. here are some photos!! (i'm in the beige dress on the right!)

volume 8 is a bop! we have a mellow cozy fall playlist, perfect get-a-way airbnbs, top trending tables, the coziest throw blankets we carry, a MUST-WATCH list and MUCH more! grab your coffee (mimosas are also accepted) and lets spend some time together.

as you guys know, a lot of the music lists are deep house & instrumental. here is a serene fall list. a perfect list for your airpods as you enjoy a morning walk in our beautiful city.

with song titles like: November, Owl's Friend & Nightengale it's really nice background music.

if you have a vibe or a song you are really enjoying let me know! i love finding new music and not listening to songs i know. email me here

click here to enjoy edition no. 8.

speaking of fall & music...who has been to Green Acres? (hopefully all of you raised your hands because it is a fantastic place.) a special little spot on the river, full of food trucks, yard games, and usually live music. Happy Hour from 2-5pm every day!

here's an upcoming even that sounds like a BLAST! THE GREEN GROVE CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT WITH LOST GROVE BREWERY! Thursday, September 30. more info here!

just outside of garden valley, this "hot springs ranch" looks absolutely dreamy.

they have a full sized hot pool PLUS private tubs. other activities include horseshoes, disc golf, spikeball, hiking, biking, playing in the river & more. there are only a few weekends left!!!

Take Me Away...

basecamp lodge is a rustic space in stanley perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts.

escape the city life, hike your heart our and relax by the fire. the lodge also provides a shared kitchen and dining room space. private rooms have a separate entrance and are dog friendly!

find your room here!

every home has their own seating needs, so it’s a good idea to have a diverse range of seating for all your guests. one idea is to utilize different types of chairs. this will make sure everyone is comfortable, and create a space where they can happily dine, work and play for hours.

your home is your sanctuary, so choose the accessories that invite peaceful energy. the most important room is your bedroom, so why not transform it into a retreat! textiles are most important place to start. at MHF we are constantly refreshing our showroom with new blankets & throw pillow options.

we've all seen pictures of the beds that are undone & are just screaming for you to crawl into. it's the layers. layers give it instant cozy appeal. you can try going overboard and adding bedspreads, throws and cushions, blankets, extra blankets – too much is not enough.

MUST WATCH LIST

it always seems like fall is the time to catch up or enjoy some new shows. but in reality with little dude football, BSU football season tickets & life in general - TV time for me is always minimal! good thing i have an amazingly cozy sectional from MHF when i do get some downtime. according to the pros, these are the MUST WATCH shows this fall:

1)
'Maid' (Netflix, October 1) Shameless alums Molly Smith Metzler and John Wells reunite to adapt Stephanie Land’s bestselling memoir about cleaning houses after finding herself broke and homeless.

2)
'Colin in Black & White' (Netflix, October 29) Former quarterback Colin Kaepernick, finds a very public second act as co-creator — with Ava DuVernay — narrator, and inspiration for this drama about his teenage years (where he’s played by Jaden Michael).

3)
'Scenes From a Marriage' (HBO, September 12) An actual adaptation, courtesy of Israeli TV writer Hagai Levi (In Treatment; The Affair), and featuring former A Most Violent Year co-stars Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac as the couple who have to come to terms with the end of their relationship.

(where juniper used to be) it’s beautiful, they left the old wood bar, and the pizza oven. we tried the burrata app (yum!) and i ordered the grande meatball! haha! yep there’s a huge meatball in there! it was great, and i can’t wait to try some of the pizzas!
